Refrigerated containers are shipping containers equipped with climate-controlled features. They are insulated and equipped with an “all-electric” cooling system, allowing for a multitude of products to be stored at specific temperatures. Although referred to as “refrigerated containers,” they maintain temperatures below 0°F and up to 75°F, depending on the product requirements. Refrigerated containers, or “reefer containers,” as they are sometimes called, are a great alternative to diesel-powered units and are also environmentally friendly.
Our refrigerated storage containers are designed for outdoor use. They are delivered on flat-bed or tilt-bed trailers and are utilized for ground-level storage. They can also be placed on wheels for dock-level storage. Many of our customers place them inside their warehouses for indoor cold storage as well. These rugged containers are well-suited for harsh environments and provide secure and safe storage for many applications.
The refrigerated containers require either 230V or 460V 3-phase power to operate efficiently. They have T-bar aluminum flooring rated for forklift and pallet jack traffic and lockable double doors for easy access. Click on the images below for availability and additional information. The 20’ refrigerated containers are compact enough to fit into a standard parking space. They can accommodate up to 8 standard pallets (single stacked/side by side).
20ft Walk In Coolers & Freezers
The single door makes it easy to open and gain access to a ground-level unit. If you are a restauranteur or a small food distributor/processor, this unit is an excellent option for you.
40ft Refrigerated Containers
The 40’ refrigerated containers are the largest ground-level units we offer. They can accommodate up to 18 standard pallets (single stacked/side by side).
40ft Refrigerated Trailers
Our rental units are equipped with reliable Carrier cooling systems. They are environmentally friendly, “all-electric” and require either 230V 3-phase or 460V 3-phase power.
40ft Insulated Containers
They are units that have come out of international shipping service. They typically range in age from 10-15 years old. They are sold in “as is” working condition.
